I’m Speaking!

This past summer, I submitted a proposal to be a presenter at the annual Georgia School Counselor Association Conference. Unfortunately, my proposal - Eagle Ambassadors: Making a Difference Through Student Leadership - was not selected. I was a little bummed, but I was fine with it. I registered for the conference and went about my merry business.

Well, earlier this week, I received an email from the conference committee asking me if I was still interested in presenting. Someone had backed out leaving a spot open. I agreed to take the open slot and will now be presenting. I am excited for this opportunity to discuss the work my co-counselor and I have been doing with our Eagle Ambassadors.

This year’s conference will be in my home city, Augusta.
