The sun’s warmth saturated her presence on the desolate beach. It had been three weeks since she had heard from her lover. Hamara was concerned, yet at peace. She had known for months the relationship had ended. She continued to hold on in spite of the roadside bulletin boards blaring warnings of danger ahead. She had refused to get off love’s highway. She failed to yield as she cruised past numerous signs beckoning her to exit the relationship before it was too late.
