No Regerts…I mean, No Regrets

There is a commercial I love. A man is getting a tattoo and the tattoo artist misspells the word regret and spells it regerts. Now you can imagine this is definitely a big regret on the man who now has a permanent misspelled tattoo on his body.

I think many of us have been in this situation. Maybe not getting a misspelled tattoo, but we have taken unnecessary risks or done something without fully thinking it through. Then regretting the outcome when things fail or if the situation is made worse by our actions.

I have done numerous things that I instantly regretted, however, following my dreams hasn’t been one of them. Even when things don’t quite go my way, I never regret going for it.

We often find ourselves regretting our actions when failure pops up. Even in the midst of failure, if you are doing what God has instructed you to do, learn the lesson and keep pressing forward. Assess whether the failure is part of the process or if it's because you stepped outside of the Godly instructions given to you. Either way, learn from it and make the necessary adjustments.

Don’t allow the enemy or people to plant seeds of regret within you, especially when you are operating in your Godly assignment. If God gave you the vision then walk in it. Trust Him because God can be trusted.
