Remember Your Why

Today’s Monday Motivation is specifically for all my educators and those working in any capacity in education at any level. 

As we gear up for the start of a new school year, remember your why.

Take a moment to think about why you became an educator or decided to work in education. Now write the reason down. Post it in a visible place or in a journal you open often.

When you are feeling overworked or underappreciated, read your why aloud. Allow yourself to hear why you chose to do what you do. Let this reignite your passion to continue your work because you are needed.

You are needed as an advocate for the profession.

You are needed as an advocate for the children in your building.

You are needed as an expert in your field.

YOU ARE NEEDED! 

So on those tough days, remember your students and the children in your building need your love, compassion, and expertise. 

My prayer is for everyone to have a blessed school year.
